ART LEARNING MISSION
We wish to provide free art lessons for children so every child has the opportunity to explore their creative side and learn about the fundamentals of art.

WHO WE ARE
Every member of our team has a passion for helping others and creating art.
Together as a team, we teach various art styles and techniques to children of
special needs. Some of the lessons we teach include creating comics, anime,
and basic instruction of painting.

Hello, welcome to the Art Learning Mission website! I am Zihao (Tony) Kuang, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of our program who is responsible of the overall management and operation of our volunteer system.
ALM has two missions: it provides 4-11 year old kids with free art education by various forms of art techniques and skills, and inspires their creativity, imagination and independent thinking. Meanwhile, it offers young volunteers an opportunity to share their passion and techniques with kids and shape their leadership skills.

Hello, welcome to our website! I am Shari Wei, Agent for Service of Process of Art Learning Mission (ALM), a non-profit organization managed and operated entirely by high school volunteers.
Driven by my strong passion for art, I have been learning and practicing arts since 3-4 years old. Art has a very positive impact on my schoolwork and even every aspect of my life. It becomes the best way to express my imaginations and creativity. Witnessing that art education has been reduced and even eliminated in our public schools in recent years, I felt compelled to bring the art class back to kids in my community three years ago. So comes the birth of ALM in December of 2015 in my City Yorba Linda.Â
From a humble beginning with only one person organization , today, ALM has evolved into a major NPO with 20+ volunteers and 140+ students totally. Furthermore , We have been listed as a certified member of PVSA (Presidential Volunteer Service Award) since July 2016!Â
Looking forward, we are very optimistic about the prospect of ALM. With strong support of our volunteers, students as well as parents, ALM will continue to play a significant role in our community. Thank all of you for making this organization successful!
